Museum displays concept car
This 2008 Dodge Demon is now on display at the National Automotive & Truck Museum in Auburn. It is the first of several concept cars from Chrysler Corp. that will be rotated approximately every three months. Only one Dodge Demon was built. It was designed as a compact, nimble “roadster with an attitude.” It features a 2.4-liter, 172-horsepower engine, six-speed transmission and rear-wheel drive on a 95.6-inch wheelbase with Bright Amber Pearl paint. In the spring, Chrysler will bring another of its designs that could be a car or truck from the 1960s or a more current creation of the Chrysler engineering and design staff, said Don Grogg, the museum’s executive director.
