Was not as easy a question to answer (for a NON US Nitro) as I thought to answer, but here it is.
The Nitro comes with a choice of two engines. Our test model came with a 210-horsepower, 3.7-liter V-6 and a four-speed automatic transmission. There's also a 260-hp, 4.0-liter V-6 that's matched to a five-speed automatic.
The standard 3.7-liter V-6 engine on the 2011 Dodge Nitro SE and SXT models produce 210 hp (157 kW) @ 5,200 rpm and 235 lb.-ft. (319 N•m) of torque @ 4,000 rpm. An exhaust-gas recirculation valve helps increase fuel economy.
