TCPMeta Well with my custom flash for my intrepid (A friend of mine at the dodge dealership) flashed my old PCM codding to the latest 3.5 H.O. codding and also disabled the EGR since it doesn't really do anything on the 3.2L and 3.5L line (some of the later 3.5Ls came with out a EGR valve) and disabled the O2 sensors to run catless with out that CEL flashing at me. He also did a few minor adjustments for better performance but I can't remember what was all said and done. Best thing to do is get a PCM from the junk yard and get it modified. If you have a 4.0L best bet is to get a 3.5L HighOutput PCM. I don't know about the 3.7L

nitro2B geez $9,000!! That thing better be able to sense rain on the windshield to activate my wipers! Are you certain they will tune my PCM, or just a speculation?

TCPMeta The DRB-III scanner is the tool Dodge and Chrysler uses for pretty much all electronics in the car. You can use a standard OBD-II scanner to retrieve codes and erase codes but the DRB-III scanner lets you change codding in the PCM and also run circuit tests and all kinds of nifty stuff. Basically it's a master computer for the PCM.

Heres one on sale at amazon and they run for more that the $8,900 price tag LINK

nitro2B ...please do. Im guessing it will reconfigure the fuel perameters that the JET chip does?

TCPMeta I wouldn't get a jet chip. Just go find a guy at dodge and give him 50 bucks to tune the PCM with the DRB-III scanner.

jas_Oz cheers..thanks.

the stage 2 will be ok for us aussies to run on normal unleaded as our octane is 91 for std and 98 for premium

jdb1937 If i did this - the only thing i would consider is a 180 degree stat (is the 4.0 stat the same as the 3.7?) and then the stage 2 jet chip. Stage 1 will be so subtle you wont tell any difference.

If the 3.7 and 4.0 stats are the same - it will be easy to change and to get the stat you need. 3.7 stats also fit 3.9, 4.7, 5.9 engines. I have a 4.7 dakota with 180 stat, superchips tuner, works great.

jas_Oz so would a stage 1 or 2 jetchip make much difference on a car with no mods?

I am running a CGS exhaust, a custom CAI, and the stage 2 Jet, but, it is on a 2007 Inferno Red SXT Nitro. What an improvement to the 3.7!
