Your welcome Fish. I also went with a Rhino Bar for the rear. That should keep them off my ass end.fishdist said:Good lead, Roadie. Item ordered and on its way. Thanks

Sounds like a plan Fishfishdist said:Roadie
I've got a big trailer hitch sticking out there. If they hit they will regret.

Ditto Fish. I installed mine this morning. I've read that most found their bar flexing. Actually I found mine to be the opposite. It's not as ridged as if it were bolted to a box frame install. But it was better than I expected when I first saw the light metal bolting area. The single bolt ,bolt plate, is crucial to getting the bar secure .I think somefishdist said:More: It's on and looks great. I will get a pic together when I get time. The unit is pretty flexy but I'll drive it a bit to see if it's a problem before doing any mods. Since I won't be using aux lights, the license plate relocate bracket is not needed after all. I will return it when it shows up.
On to the next project.

Fish I put those Silverstars into my Element .I agree they appear to be whiter but vision is not that much improved.A word to the wise ,use latex gloves when you install those silverstars. Leaving your body oils on them greatly reduce their life span. The reason I'm installing driving lights on the Hog Bar is to get better night vision without going to the poor house. And about that age thing ? I bet I have underwear older than you.fishdist said:Roadie,
Yeh, my tech was under the car for quite a while, too. I'm too old for that kind of stuff, might skin a knuckle or something. LOL
I'm going to go with the Silvania Silverstar replacement lights that McNabb mentions in here somewhere, that way no more light installs needed. The Hi-Po lights do look cool though.
My nerf bars have been ordered a month but still no show. Take care, pal.
