I have 2008 Dodge Nitro RT with around 330,000 miles on it. Yes, I know its a lot, but my grandparents gave it to me and they used it back and forth to work which was around 250 miles a day.

The Nitro makes a chirping like noise when idleing. Sometimes it is louder sometimes it quiet. The really annoying part is when you accelerate. It chirps faster when accelerating faster, and slows down when slowing down. All belts were replaced by dealership and are in perfect condition. All fluids were flushed and changed out also.

Does anyone know what this could be? Or is it because of the 300 thousand miles?

Thanks for the help!!
Cory.

Could be water pump or alternator bearing.
