September 30, 2013 , Auburn Hills, Mich. -
The Chrysler Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Chrysler Group LLC, will donate $50,000 to the First Response Team of America, a non-profit disaster relief organization that is actively engaged in Colorado clearing and rebuilding impassable roads. The grant will enable the First Response Team to continue these efforts for several more weeks.

Chrysler Group and its brands have a long history of supporting communities in their time of need.
"Helping communities hard hit by natural disasters is the social responsibility that we embrace as a brand," said Jason Stoicevich, Head of FIAT Brand for North America, Chrysler Group LLC. "We hope that The Chrysler Foundation’s support will help to bring prompter relief to the affected areas in Colorado and to the families that call the Centennial State home."
The Chrysler Foundation has previously partnered with the First Response Team America on disaster relief efforts, most recently providing a $100,000 grant to the disaster relief organization in response to the Oklahoma tornadoes in May.
"We are humbled by the unwavering spirit of those who strive to endure in the wake of the flooding, and by those who answer the call to aid and comfort them," said Reid Bigland, President and Chief Executive Officer Ram Truck Brand - Chrysler Group LLC.
In 2012, the Ram Truck brand announced a partnership with The First Response Team of America and Weather Channel Companies (TWCC). Sponsored by the Ram Truck brand, TWCC launched an exclusive cross-platform series of in-the-field "Responding by Storm" reports chronicling the works of the First Response Team of America. Ram also donated three heavy-duty trucks to the First Response Team.
