New York — The Chrysler Group expects to install Sirius in more than 70 percent of its vehicles for the 2008 model year, according to Sirius.
Last year, Chrysler installed Sirius on 40 percent of its vehicles.
For 2008 models, Sirius will be included as a standard feature in most premium and midlevel Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep models. It will also be a 100 percent standard feature on Chrysler Sebring and Aspen, the new Dodge Challenger and Nitro, and the Jeep Grand Cherokee and Commander.
Chrysler Group includes one year of pre-activated service with each new vehicle.
