Dodge powers Chrysler to record March sales - Motor Trader

US brand achieves best month since returning to UK
The Dodge brand has helped give Chrysler dealers their best sales month since the US franchise returned to the UK 15 years ago.
The March plate change month generated a total of 4,010 Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge sales with the Dodge Caliber emerging as the biggest seller with 710 units sold.
The Dodge Caliber was the brand's bestseller
This is the first time the franchise has sold over 4,000 vehicles in a month and follows a tough year for the franchise with Chrysler and Jeep sales both down in 2007.

“This is the best ever March sales volume for our brands in the UK and a 20 per cent increase on March 2007,” said Jon Wakefield, sales director.
Top five sellers March 2008
1. Dodge Caliber: 710
2. Jeep Patriot: 594
3. Chrysler 300C: 469
4. Dodge Nitro: 436
5. Jeep Grand Cherokee: 422
“This excellent result has also helped us to achieve our best ever quarter one sales volume, which has increased 12 per cent compared to last year in a challenging market.”
