Drivers window switch

New to the forum and looking for help for my daughters 2007 dodge nitro. Her drivers window switch is bad. i tried to clean it and its getting power, contacts must be worn out. Anyway i ordered a new one and it was wrong. i didn't realize there were so many combinations. the original one is 04602533ac. the one i ordered has way more pin-outs than hers. Also i noticed that there is no "Auto" on the switch which i discovered is the auto-down. another thing is they say it fits an 07 but once you see the underside pins its wrong. is this the only switch that works. cause other than a $98 one there is no other options. Any input would help , thanks.

I purchased a switch that was supposed to work on a 2007 nitro but the pins and part number were different. IT DID NOT WORK the front windows , mirrors, or locks. I bought another one online for 29.00 with the correct number 533ad or ab etc will work and everything works. 9 + 3 pins. Spent lots of hours figuring out what was wrong. 2007 is a unique year for the switch.

Drivers Power Switch Issue, HELP PLZ!

Hey!
my drivers power switch stop working, no power locks, no power mirrors, no power front windows. Just back windows works.
From each door switch expect the drivers, works fine.

I dont know if is the power switch, or the module that is above the drivers speaker (I dont know what this module do)
I need to replace something the thing is I dont know which one?
Please is someone can help me? I will appreciated.

I have already replaced the power window switch but unfortunately it did not solve my problem.

The proper switch is NOT going to cost $20.00 or $30.00 and work they are expensive!

So others are not finding relative success with the Amazon $25 to $30 versions? My sisters 08 nitro just broke the driver window toggle so we have to replace it looks like. The amazon.ebay reviews sound like they work but.. thanks for any feedbacks.

If you can remove the old switch and see what part # is on it. That # may have been replaced but it should help in making sure the new replacement will work with the options you have on that Nitro. There are several switches used on the Nitro as you can tell on this THREAD. Good Luck. Usually the expensive ones are the correct replacement.

More than likely it is the harness: pinched wire. Also, loose connection. Harness plugs into switches and door jam. Good luck.

I've got the same problem with my front windows not working, back windows work fine. So check this out. We unplug the switch and push the button and front windows go up and down. Door locks work , mirror works. Back windows don't work. We would love for someone to explain this one to us. How do the front windows work when they're not plugged in. POLTERGEIST

You might want to check out the wiring diagram for the windows since they must have power not related to the front master switch or they are shorted in the harness. Usually as you can see the issue is in the switch. The harness can be shorted at the door where it enters also. Just a guess but could be the problem.
