You will have, most likely in the 2008 models. In addition, Sirius Satellite streaming video will be an option in 2008 models...

Hey, thanks "Vinny" ;)
Re: New Navigation News

Just curious...does anyone have any idea whether or not Mopar might make the MyGiG multimedia system available as an aftermarket addition to Nitro's that did not come with them?
Re: New Navigation News

Does anyone have any idea on how much the nav system will cost and on which models that it will be available on
Thanks
Re: New Navigation News

It's like $1700.00 & can get for sure on SLT & R/T don't know about SXT.
Re: New Navigation News

The 'My Gig' cost $1895.95 on a window sticker for a SLT 4x4 with the leather package I saw today. Kindof pricey, but it has alot of goodies.
Re: New Navigation News

That is spendy, But still like all the goodies it comes with, i'll wait till nov. & spend the money. Didn't see it yet on the build & price on dodge.com.
Re: New Navigation News

Has anyone been able to play around with it on a test drive or something?
Re: New Navigation News

You can choose the MyGig system on any model, except the SXT, on the dodge site. On SLT's with the "G" pkg. it's $1545, on the "F" pkg. $1845. On the RT it's priced at $1700.
Re: New Navigation News

Does anyone know if you can do a direct swap from the 6 disk changer to the mygig unit?
I have the UConnect buttons on my Radio setup but no microphone enabled rear-view mirror. Does anyone know if this option is supposed to be present if the radio display has the UConnect buttons? When I push one the screen says something like "UConnect not available". Any ideas would be great, the guy at the service center thought that I would've had everything being how the display is setup. Also I don't see anywhere at Mopar.com where the UConnect is available for after-market sale.
re: Upgrading to a MyGig radio

Look around Ebay & there are Uconnect modules available for a lot of other Dodge / Chrysler vehicles so I imagine it will become available for the Nitro too.
But read the various forums online & there is a lot of information. No clue what is true & what isn't. One place I read you will need the stereo system with the MyGig & Nav system. But then why are there Uconnect buttons on my single CD/Sirius stereo?
So we wait.......
re: Upgrading to a MyGig radio

I just bought my nitro with the impression that i had uconnect. i have the buttons as well. pressed the button and i get the same message. called the dealership today going to call again tommorrow. I did notice the mirror is soppose to have the microphone in them but its not there.
re: Upgrading to a MyGig radio

i have u connect. u dont need my gig for u connect yes there is a mic in the mirror u wont see it but there should be wires coming from back of mirror and on mine i have a button with a green light for they auto dimming rear view. u will also need a cell phone with blue tooth so u can pair your phone with u connect. hope that helps a bit
