Well now a bad review on a JEEP? (Guess they have run out of bad reviews on our Nitro, and are now going after the Liberty!)
Could this once-attractive little S.U.V. be the reason the Germans finally gave up on Chrysler, broke up DaimlerChrysler and headed home to Stuttgart with their tails tucked between the legs of their lederhosen?
I wonder. Here’s my theory: The fabulous, charismatic Jeep brand was supposed to have been one of the big attractions when Daimler-Benz took over Chrysler in 1998. But after a week spent driving the redesigned 2008 Jeep Liberty through the White Mountains of New Hampshire, I couldn’t find anything admirable about it.
