Jeep® brand retail sales up 3 percent year over year in October
Jeep Compass posts best October sales ever
A 43 percent year-over-year decline in fleet sales is in line with the FCA US strategy to reduce sales to the daily rental segment
®FCA US brands take home the most awards of any manufacturer at last month’s annual Texas Truck Rodeo competition and at the annual Active Lifestyle Vehicle event

FCA US LLC today reported sales of 153,373 units, a 13 percent decrease compared with sales in October 2016 (176,609 units).

In October, retail sales of 130,153 units were down 4 percent compared with the same month in 2016 and represented 85 percent of total sales. In line with FCA’s strategy to reduce sales to the daily rental segment, fleet sales of 23,220 units were down, as expected, 43 percent year over year. Fleet sales represented 15 percent of total FCA US October sales.

The Ram pickup truck and the all-new Jeep® Compass each posted their best October sales ever. Sales of the Compass were up 81 percent year over year in the month. Other FCA US vehicles posting year-over-year sales increases in the month were the Jeep Cherokee, Jeep Renegade, Ram pickup truck, Dodge Charger, Dodge Durango and Fiat 500L.

Jeep Brand
The all-new Jeep Compass recorded its best October sales ever. Compass sales were up 81 percent, compared with the same month a year ago. The Jeep Cherokee turned in a 19 percent increase and its best sales month so far this year. Jeep brand retail sales increased 3 percent year over year in October, compared with the same month a year ago. In October, the Jeep Grand Cherokee beat its competition for the seventh consecutive year at the Texas Truck Rodeo, hosted by the Texas Automotive Writers Association (TAWA). The Grand Cherokee Trailhawk topped the Mid-size SUV category, while the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Recon won the Off-road SUV category. The Jeep Renegade took the Subcompact SUV category. Additionally, the Jeep Compass Trailhawk took home the Best Value Off-Road award at the Active Lifestyle Vehicle (AVL) competition.

Ram Truck Brand

Ram pickup truck sales were up 1 percent in October, compared with the same month a year ago. It was the pickup truck’s best October sales ever. The Ram Truck brand won two pickup truck categories during TAWA’s Texas Truck Rodeo in October. The 2018 Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn Southfork won the Luxury Pickup Truck category and grabbed the highest overall interior score. The 2018 Ram 2500 Limited Tungsten topped the Heavy Duty Pickup Truck category. Additionally, the 2018 Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn Southfork took home the top award in the High Luxury Off-Road category at the AVL competition.

Dodge Brand

Sales of the Dodge Charger were up 19 percent while Dodge Durango SUV sales increased 11 percent in October, compared with the same month a year ago. It was the Durango’s best October sales since 2006. The Durango SRT won the Full-size SUV category and received the highest overall performance score during last month’s TAWA competition in Texas. Additionally, the Dodge Durango SRT took home the Luxury Family award at the AVL competition.

FIAT Brand
Sales of the Fiat 500L increased 34 percent last month for its best October sales since 2015. A redesigned exterior gives the 2018 500L an updated look, with new front and rear fascia design, bodyside molding design, wheel designs, daytime running light lens and rear side reflector design.

Chrysler Brand
The Chrysler brand last month announced that the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica is now available with a customized, athletic look with the new S Appearance Package. With the S Appearance Package, the 2018 Pacifica gets a sporty look featuring black accents inside and out. Additionally, the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid took home the top award in the Best Value Family category at the AVL competition.

Alfa Romeo Brand

Alfa Romeo brand sales of 1,205 units were up significantly compared with the same month a year ago as the launch of the all-new Alfa Romeo Stelvio SUV continues in U.S. dealerships. The Stelvio was crowned Crossover of Texas and also took home honors for Luxury Crossover of Texas and Most Drives at TAWA’s annual Texas Truck Rodeo in October.

FIAT brand sales grew 4 percent compared to prior year; best October ever

Ram established best October ever, with sales 8 percent higher than in 2016

November 1, 2017 , Mexico City - FCA México reported sales of 8,493 units.

“Last month in Mexico, we launched the most capable version of the most awarded SUV in the world, Jeep® Grand Cherokee Trailhawk, expanding the range of Jeep products, which continue to attract new customers to the sales floor,” said Bruno Cattori, President & CEO of FCA México. “We also opened the first exclusive Alfa Romeo boutique, a concept that allows us get closer to the brand's followers and shows the sophistication and elegance of a totally new premium brand identity.”

Alfa Romeo
Alfa Romeo, the Italian brand that continues receiving worldwide recognition, achieved sales of 29 units. Last month, 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia earned the 2017 Top Safety Pick+ (TSP+) rating from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). In addition, within the annual Autonis Awards, Alfa Romeo was chosen as “Best Design of the Year” and Alfa Romeo Stelvio received “Best Big SUV.”

In October, we opened the first Alfa Romeo boutique, a modern sales point that shows the sophistication and elegance of a totally new premium brand.

Chrysler reported sales of 48 units. Chrysler Pacifica, the minivan that redefines its segment, celebrates one year in Mexico.

Dodge sold 2,595 units. Dodge Attitude continued its positive sales trend with 1,524 units. Dodge Neon and Dodge Journey continued with good numbers, reporting sales of 397 and 316 units, respectively.

FIAT sold 765 units, up 4 percent versus 2016, best October ever. Fiat Mobi, the vehicle with perfect dimensions for the city with exclusive design and equipment, had sales of 395 units, while Fiat Uno, the car with unique equipment for vehicles of its class, sold 281 units.

Jeep sales increased 42 percent compared to October 2016 with 1,411 units. Jeep Renegade sold 496 units. Jeep Compass sold 263 units. This SUV earned the 2017 Top Safety Pick rating from IIHS. Jeep Grand Cherokee, the sales leader in the large SUV segment, sold 477 units, up 31 percent versus October 2016. Jeep Wrangler sold 161 units.

Last month, we launched Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk, the most capable version of this model. This vehicle is equipped with a host of standard off-road capability features, including Jeep’s Quadra-Drive II 4x4 system with rear Electronic Limited Slip Differential for all powertrains, a unique version of Grand Cherokee’s Quadra-Lift air suspension – developed for Trailhawk – that offers improved articulation and total suspension travel, as well as Selec-Speed Control with Hill Ascent Control.

Mitsubishi Motors
Mitsubishi Motors finished the month with 1,580 units sold, up 32 percent versus prior year, best October ever. Sales were driven primarily due to Mitsubishi Mirage, which sold 808 units, an increase of 82 percent, best October ever; and Mitsubishi L200, which sold 674 units, up 57 percent, best October since 2011.

Last month, as part of the 45th edition of the Tokyo Motor Show, Mitsubishi Motors Corporation celebrated the world debut of the Mitsubishi e-Evolution CONCEPT. The all-electric high-performance SUV incorporates the new strategy of the brand under the global slogan “drive your ambition,” reflecting an adventurous and progressive mentality for an inspiring product and design.

Ram brand sold 2,065 units, up 8 percent over prior year, best October in its history. Ram 700 and Ram ProMaster Rapid continue as leaders in their segments, placing in the market 882 units and 322 units, respectively.

FCA Canada Reports Monthly Sales Record

FCA Canada Reports Monthly Sales Record for Jeep® Wrangler and Year-to-date Record for Ram Brand and Ram Pickup Trucks

November 2, 2017 , Windsor, Ontario -

October 2017 sales results are in for FCA Canada, highlighting a monthly record for Jeep® Wrangler, as well as a calendar-year-to-date record for Ram brand and Ram pickup truck sales. Overall, FCA Canada sales of 17,211 vehicles were down 12 per cent, when compared with results from October 2016.

Sales Highlights
Built on over 75 years of go-anywhere 4x4 heritage, Jeep Wrangler posted strong October 2017 sales of 1,766 units. That figure represents the best October sales on record for the iconic global nameplate.

While complete information will not be available until November 29 at the Los Angeles Auto Show, an all-new, next-generation Jeep Wrangler is on the way. The most capable SUV ever will deliver even more legendary Jeep 4x4 capability, with a modern design that stays true to the original, with advanced fuel-efficient powertrains, more open-air options, as well as more safety features and advanced technology than ever before.

New from the ground up, the all-new Jeep Compass is resonating with consumers as evidenced by a rise in sales. A total of 574 units were sold last month, marking its best October sales since 2008 and an increase of 44 per cent, compared with sales in October 2016. This truly global vehicle is climbing its way up in over 100 markets around the world and stands as the most capable SUV in its class.

Calendar-year-to-date sales of the Windsor, Ontario-made Chrysler Pacifica are up 166 per cent, as compared with the same timeframe in 2016. In October, Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid earned the title of “Best Value Family” vehicle in the U.S.'s 14th annual Active Lifestyle Vehicle awards, where a panel of automotive journalists and professional athletes evaluated cars, crossovers, SUVs and trucks in nine categories.

Once again, the Ram brand’s highly capable vehicle line stood tall in October, with calendar-year-to-date sales of 91,157 units, beating the previous year-to-date sales results by 13 per cent. Ram’s light- and heavy-duty pickup line also marked a year-to-date record in October, with 86,482 sales reported, an increase of 13 per cent versus the same time last year.
