Wearing a brown corduroy Carhartt jacket over his dress shirt and tie, Chrysler President Jim Press introduced the 2009 Dodge Ram this morning in front of Cobo Center.
But a herd of 120 longhorn cattle stole the show, not quite in a way that Press expected. After 16 cowboys led the herd up Congress and Washington, with two new 2009 Rams in the middle of the pack, a few of the cattle started mounting each other as Press talked.
"This is one show you're not going to forget," he said to hundreds of members of the international press, gathered under seven heated awnings in front of Cobo, as they gawked at the excitement of the giant steer rather than the new Dodge truck. "OK -- look at the truck."
More here: (no pictures of the mounting, Ha Ha)
