December 16, 2015 , Auburn Hills, Mich. -
Mopar Vehicle Protection (MVP), the service contract division of FCA US LLC, recently launched new vehicle protection plans that offer a combination of features and benefits not currently available in the marketplace.
The Mopar "Complete 360" plans provide vehicle owners hassle-free protection for 5 years/60,000 miles or 6 years/75,000 miles.
Highlights of the plans include:
Complete mechanical coverage for the entire vehicle, covering 5,000-plus components
Complete vehicle scheduled and recommended maintenance including parts and services
Complete coverage for all mechanical wear and tear, such as wheel alignments, brakes (including pads and rotors), shocks and struts, wiper blades, belts and hoses, clutch assembly, battery, headlamps/bulbs/fuses and more
“Our mission at Mopar is to offer our customers industry-leading solutions that add value and bring peace of mind to their lives,” said Pietro Gorlier, Head of Parts and Service (Mopar), FCA – Global. “Mopar Vehicle Protection is the only service contract in the industry offering this degree of comprehensive vehicle protection, backed by trained and certified technicians and genuine Mopar parts. This is a true value proposition for our customers and one that we hope will keep them coming back to our network.”
The Mopar "Complete 360" plans also include first day and extended car rental allowance while the vehicle is being repaired, $100 Sign & Go Towing and Roadside Assistance, $1,000 trip interruption protection and even key fob coverage.
The “All-In” option covers the total cost of two worn tire replacements for the term of the plan, plus full Road Hazard Tire & Wheel protection. Also covered are repairs for minor vehicle dings, dents, glass chips and cracks, as well as rips and tears to interior seats, carpet and trim.
More Protection From MVP
In addition to the Mopar "Complete 360" plans, MVP offers a wide range of vehicle protection packages to suit the needs of any customer.
Mopar offers owners a Lifetime Maximum Care plan that provides total mechanical protection for more than 5,000 components. The plan provides peace of mind for the ownership life of the vehicle, regardless of years of ownership or miles driven.
Lifetime coverage goes beyond full mechanical protection to include $100 Sign & Go Towing and Roadside Assistance, first day and extended car rental allowance, $1,000 trip interruption protection and key fob replacement for the initial 7 years/100,000 miles of ownership. No other manufacturer offers such comprehensive vehicle lifetime protection during the ownership term.
The Mopar brand also helps customers take care of the high cost of maintaining a vehicle with a unique array of products called Essential Care.
“Oil is the ‘life’s blood’ of a car, and it’s a fact that every vehicle requires regularly scheduled oil change, filter and lubrication services to ensure the long-term health of its engine and powertrain,” said Alan D’Agostini, Director of Service Contracts, FCA US LLC.
“Mopar offers these services at extremely competitive prices. For example, with our plans, our customers could pay up to half of the retail price that they would normally pay. Case in point is our 6-year/12-coupon Oil, Filter and Lube Service Essential Care plan, which sells for $170 and translates to the owner paying about $14.17 per oil change.”
Essential Care plans offer premium Pennzoil and Rotella oil brands. The plans are offered in 1-year to 6-year terms and cover a broad portfolio, including standard, synthetic blend or diesel oil. Essential Care plans are available at any point during vehicle ownership for all new or used vehicles, regardless of brand. Services are performed at FCA US dealerships.
