Wow that is a lot! So does that mean that sales doubled?
This 94% (if I understand their Press Release) is over sales of LAST October Last October 3,044 Nitros were sold, and this year 5,891 were sold. For this year 61,680 Nitros have been sold. Compare this to Jeep Liberty sales of 75,351.

Looking at sales figures of other models shown in the PR, Nitro is still not a large volume seller that Chrysler LLC is demanding to continue production.

Just announced models to be discontinued:

PT Cruiser 5,695 sales down 47% (convertible not broken out)

Pacifica 4,880 sales down 13%

Magnum 2,576 sales down 25%

Crossfire 8,401 sales down 85%

What may be saving Nitro is at least sales are increasing and not down as the above. This Site has a impact on sales I would think, since most here are pleased with their purchase. Printed reviews still lack our positive comments about our Nitros!
