FCA US LLC today reported U.S. sales of 175,974 units, a 3 percent increase compared with sales in November 2014 (170,839 units), and the group’s best November sales since 2000.

The Jeep® and Ram Truck brands each posted year-over-year sales gains in November compared with the same month a year ago. The Jeep brand’s 20 percent increase was the largest sales gain of any FCA US brand during the month. The group extended its streak of year-over-year sales gains to 68 consecutive months.

“Despite having two less selling days this November, FCA US still recorded its best November sales since 2000 and our 68th consecutive month of year-over-year sales increases,” said Reid Bigland, Head of U.S. Sales. “The favorable I.O.U. environment of low interest rates, oil prices, and unemployment, coupled with our strongest product line up ever, continues to be a significant driver of FCA sales.”

Seven FCA US vehicles set records in the month of November, including four Jeep brand vehicles. The Jeep Cherokee, Jeep Compass, Jeep Patriot and Jeep Wrangler each recorded their best November sales ever. The Chrysler Town & Country minivan posted a 20 percent sales gain, the largest percentage year-over-year increase of any FCA US vehicle in the month. The Dodge Challenger, Dodge Journey and Ram pickup truck also turned in their best November sales ever.

FCA US finished the month of November with an 86-day supply of inventory (659,063 units). U.S. industry sales figures for November are internally projected at an estimated 18.4 million units Seasonally Adjusted Annual Rate (SAAR).



Jeep Brand
Jeep brand sales increased 20 percent, the brand’s best November sales ever and its 26th consecutive month of year-over-year sales gains. The Jeep brand has set a sales record in every month dating back to November 2013. The Compass, Patriot, Wrangler and Cherokee each posted their best November sales ever. The Compass’ 19 percent increase was the largest year-over-year percentage gain of any Jeep brand model for the month. Sales of the flagship Jeep Grand Cherokee were up 11 percent for its best November sales since 2003. The Grand Cherokee was named a Consumers Digest Best Buy for the sixth-consecutive year. The Renegade earned a Best Buy designation in November from both Consumer Guide Automotive and Consumers Digest.

Ram Truck Brand

Ram Truck brand sales, which include the Ram pickup truck, Ram ProMaster, Ram ProMaster City and Ram Cargo Van, were up 1 percent in November, the brand’s best November sales since 2003. Sales of the Ram pickup truck increased 2 percent, the pickup’s best November sales ever. The pickup was named a 2016 Best Buy last month by the editors at Consumer Guide Automotive. Ram ProMaster City sales were up 158 percent in November, compared with the previous month of October. It was the ProMaster City’s best sales month since it was launched in January. Green Car Journal named the ProMaster City its 2016 Commercial Green Car of the Year during last month’s San Antonio Auto & Truck Show. The ProMaster City is Ram’s newest addition to its commercial vehicle lineup and contributes to the expanding, purpose-built van segment with a number of best-in-class, functional elements tied directly to commercial customer demand.

Dodge Brand
Five Dodge brand vehicles posted sales gains, including the Dodge Challenger and Dodge Journey, which had their best November sales ever. It was the Challenger’s 10th sales record this year. The Dodge Charger, Dodge Durango and Dodge Viper all posted year-over-year sales gains in November. The Charger, for the second time in two years, has earned the Residual Value Award in the “Full-size Car” category from ALG, the industry benchmark for residual values and depreciation data. The Durango last month earned a 2016 Best Buy designation in the Large SUV category from editors at Consumer Guide Automotive for the fourth-consecutive year. In addition, the Durango and Challenger each earned a Best Buy last month from Consumers Digest. Also, the Charger and Durango made Strategic Vision’s annual list of “Most Loved Vehicles in America.” Dodge brand sales were down 8 percent in November, compared with the same month a year ago.

FIAT Brand
FIAT brand sales, which include the Fiat 500, Fiat 500L, and 500X, the newest addition to the FIAT brand vehicle lineup, were down 3 percent in November compared with the same month a year ago. The Fiat 500 last month earned a Best Buy designation from Consumers Digest for the fifth time in the Subcompact category. Also last month, the 500 and the fully-electric Fiat 500e both made Strategic Vision’s “Most Loved Vehicles in America” list.

Chrysler Brand
Sales of the Chrysler Town & Country minivan were up 20 percent, the minivan’s second best sales month this year. The Town & Country’s 20 percent sales gain was the largest percentage year-over-year increase of any FCA US vehicle in the month. Chrysler brand sales were down 12 percent, compared with the same month a year ago. The Chrysler 300, the brand’s flagship sedan, earned its fourth Best Buy award in the Luxury Cars category from Consumers Digest in November. Consumers Digest selects Best Buys by identifying vehicles that deliver the most value for the money within their segment.

FCA México today reported sales of 9,910 units, a 10 percent increase compared with sales in November 2014, making November the best sales month of 2015.

Alfa Romeo

The Alfa Romeo brand sold 27 units in November 2015. As part of the brand´s strategy to increase the product portfolio, last month Alfa Romeo Giulia was revealed at the Los Angeles Auto Show as a vehicle built in Italy with the most powerful engine for road use ever created by Alfa Romeo. It delivers class-leading 505 horsepower and is able to go from 0 to 60 mph in 3.8 seconds. The all-new Giulia is the fastest four-door production vehicle ever at the Nurburgring circuit, bringing together the best resources and talent within a highly focused team to deliver the highest levels of innovation and precision craftsmanship.

Chrysler

Chrysler brand recorded sales of 519 units in November. Chrysler Town & Country posted a sales increase of 7 percent, setting two sales records: best November since 2008 and best sales month of 2015. Chrysler 300 sales improved 12 percent versus prior year, making it the best sales month of the year.

Dodge
Dodge brand sales were up 125 percent with 3,235 units sold in November; best sales month of the year. Dodge Attitude's sales of 1,783 vehicles resulted in its best sales month ever. Dodge Journey sold 965 units in November 2015. Dodge Charger reached sales of 137 units; last month this vehicle took home ALG’s Residual Value Award (2015 and 2016) for the second year in a row. Last month, 2016 Dodge Durango was named Large SUV Best Buy for the fourth consecutive year, according to Consumer Guide®.

FIAT
FIAT brand sales were up 9 percent with 748 units sold. The brand’s increase was driven by Fiat Uno sales, which had its best November since its launch, and by positive sales of the new Sporting lineup. The FIAT brand continues to expand its product portfolio with the Fiat 500X pre-launch last month. Fiat 500X is the brand’s first-ever crossover, fully integrated with contemporary Italian design, driving excitement, technology and superior ride and handling.

Jeep®
Jeep brand had a great month in November 2015 with sales of 1,928 units. Jeep Wrangler sales were up 45 percent, recording its best sales month ever. Jeep Patriot sold 552 units in November 2015.

Mitsubishi Motors

Mitsubishi Motors Mexico continues its winning streak in sales, reaching 17 consecutive months of double-digit increases. The brand reported 1,481 units sold in November, representing an increase of 35 percent compared with the same month in 2014.

With one year of presence in the domestic market, Mitsubishi Mirage extends its history of success in the Mexican market with 466 units sold. Meanwhile, Mitsubishi Outlander and Mitsubishi L200 reported an increase of 55 percent and 39 percent, respectively, compared to the same period last year. Mitsubishi ASX sales rose 5 percent versus November 2014.

Mitsubishi Motors Mexico has sold 14,488 units during 2015, an increase of 41 percent over 2014.

Ram
The Ram brand continues its positive momentum with 1,972 units sold, marking its best sales month of the year. Sales of the Ram ProMaster were up 73 percent, best November since its launch. Ram 700 sold 907 units, recording its best sales month ever. The new Ram Laramie Limited offers a new grille, new tailgate and a unique RamBox, as well as a unique air suspension in its category, and it also recorded its best sales month of the year.

In November, the 2016 Ram 1500 was honored by Consumer Guide® as Large Pickup Truck Best Buy.

FCA Canada Inc. today reported November 2015 sales of 21,038, compared with 20,922 vehicles sold in November 2014. These results mark a year-over-year increase of 1 per cent and represent the best year-to-date sales through November in the Company’s history. Additionally, these sales figures maintain FCA Canada’s position as the number one seller of new vehicles in the country through November.

“These results represent our best November sales month since 1999 and our best CYTD sales results in the 90-year history of our Company,” said Dave Buckingham, Chief Operating Officer, FCA Canada. “Our Jeep® brand has had tremendous success around the globe, as well as in Canada where we posted a November sales record.”

Sales Highlights:


The Jeep brand is headed for another record-breaking year, with 2015 calendar-year-to-date (CYTD) sales of 73,447 units, up 12 per cent over last year’s record total at this time of year of 65,615 units. Leading the November sales success for the brand was Jeep Cherokee. This SUV was sold to 2,822 customers in Canada, an increase of 33 per cent compared with 2,122 units sold in November 2014. These results mark a November sales record. For 2016, the Jeep Cherokee delivers legendary Jeep 4x4 capability, fuel ratings of up to 7.7 L/100 km (37mpg) highway, superior on-road ride and handling, a segment-exclusive 9-speed automatic transmission, world-class craftsmanship, class-exclusive technology and more than 70 available advanced safety and security features.

Dodge Journey sales were very strong in November 2015 with 2,203 units sold, marking an increase of 39 per cent compared with 1,583 units sold in the same month of 2014. These results represent a November sales record. The Dodge Journey crossover continues to deliver a slew of high-tech features at a price that is affordable to families. With best-in-class storage systems, second-row in-floor storage and front-passenger in-seat storage, Dodge Journey delivers versatility and value.

FCA US SUV, pickup truck and minivan sales powered the way to a 3% sales growth last month over November 2014, with 175,974 vehicles sold. In all, our truck platform saw an 11% sales increase, while cars were down 22% last month.

With a month left in 2015, FCA US total sales passed the 2 million mark for the second year in a row, currently standing at 2,026,380.

FCA posted European sales of 68,500 units for the month of November, representing an 18.3% year-over-year increase and outperforming the industry average (+13.7%) for the eleventh consecutive month. For the eleven months year-to-date, sales were up 13.4% (+8.6% for the industry) to more than 807,000 units. The Fiat Panda and 500 continued to lead the European A segment with a combined share of 27.5% for the month. For more than a year, the Fiat 500L has ranked as the best-selling Small MPV (23.5% segment share for the month). With its continuous sales increases, the Fiat 500X was segment leader in Italy and has also firmly established itself among the segment leaders in Europe. The Fiat brand outperformed the industry average for the third consecutive month, with European sales up 19.7% from November a year ago. Jeep brand sales were up 131.9% for the year-to-date driven by results for the Renegade, which continues to rank among the top ten in its segment.

In November, the European passenger car market (EU28+EFTA) posted new vehicle registrations up 13.7% to nearly 1,125,000 units.


For the eleven months year-to-date, registrations were up 8.6% over the same period in 2014 to nearly 13,046,000 vehicles.

FCA closed the month with sales up 18.3% over November a year ago to nearly 68,500 vehicles. This marked the eleventh consecutive month that the Group has outperformed the industry average, taking European market share to 6.1% (+30 basis points).

For the year-to-date, FCA sales were up 13.4% to more than 807,000 vehicles and share increased to 6.2% (+30 basis points).

The Group posted sales increases in most major European markets, in several cases outpacing the industry average. In Italy, sales were up 26.0% in November and 17.7% year-to-date. FCA also posted sales increases in Germany (+9.2% vs. +8.9% for the industry), France (+17.1% vs. +11.3% for the industry) and Spain (+37.3% vs. 25.4% for the industry).

Fiat brand outperformed the industry for the third consecutive month, with November sales up 19.7% to more than 51,000 vehicles and market share 30 basis points higher at 4.6%.

For the year-to-date, brand sales totaled more than 608,000 vehicles (+11.2% year-over-year) and market share was 4.7% (+10 bps).

For the major European markets, the brand posted particularly positive November sales in Italy (+29.4%), Germany (+7.7%), France (+26.9%) and Spain (+42.0%). Year-to-date, sales were up 15.8% in Italy, 3.5% in Germany, 17.5% in France and 27.0% Spain.

The brand continued to dominate the European A segment with the Panda and 500 holding a combined share of 27.5% in November and 27.8% for the year-to-date. Sales of the Panda (A segment leader in November) were up 12.95% for the year-to-date to nearly 161,000 units. For the 500, just under 169,000 units have been sold so far this year. The other members of the 500 family also posted positive results. The 500L led the Small MPV segment for both November and the year-to-date, with sales so far this year totaling more than 77,600 units and segment share at 22.4%. The 500X also continues to post strong sales growth and has firmly established itself among the leaders in the Small SUV segment with more than 66,000 units sold year-to-date. In Italy, the 500X was the clear segment leader for both November and the year-to-date.

Lancia/Chrysler posted November sales of more than 4,500 vehicles and market share was 0.4%. Year-to-date, brand sales across Europe totaled more than 57,000 units and market share was 0.4%.

In Italy, sales of the Lancia Ypsilon were up 8.1% for the year-to-date.

Alfa Romeo posted November sales of more than 4,500 vehicles, a 6.3% year-over-year increase with share stable at 0.4%. November sales were up 17.7% in Italy, 3.5% in France, 6.6% in Spain and 21.2% in Austria. The Giulietta posted a 10.9% sales increase for the month.

Year-to-date, the brand's European sales totaled nearly 52,500 units and market share was 0.4%. Compared with the same period in 2014, sales were 7.0% higher in Italy and 26.6% higher in Austria. Sales of the Giulietta were up 1.1% for the period.

Jeep marked its 25th-consecutive month of sales growth in November, with unit sales up 50.2% to more than 7,500 vehicles. Market share was 20 basis points higher at 0.7%. The brand posted increases in all major European markets, significantly outperforming the industry average. By market, unit sales were up 67.2% in Italy, 23.5% in Germany, 37.1% in France, 121.3% in the UK and 80.8% in Spain.

Year-to-date, sales increased 131.9% to nearly 80,700 vehicles and market share doubled to 0.6%.

Those results were driven by continued strong growth for the Jeep Renegade, firmly among the top ten in its segment in Europe with more than 50,000 units sold so far in 2015.

For Ferrari and Maserati, the Group's luxury brands, European sales totaled 527 vehicles in November and 8,362 for the year-to-date.
