*UPDATE 01/03/2018* Some additional info about the Demon Crate: You must be present for the delivery due to the size and weight of the Dodge Demon Crate. They will call you an hour before the delivery to make sure you are there and they will deliver it on a truck that has a lift.

This is a real Dodge Demon Crate being unboxed. The crate is HUGE and weighs 300 lbs! I personally feel that this crate puts the Dodge Demon in a class of its own and makes it a true collector's car.

Mopar Lets The ‘Hellcrate’ Loose

The 6.2-liter supercharged Crate HEMI Engine delivers 707 horsepower and 650 lb.-ft. of torque

Few things please auto buffs more than a souped-up engine kit with ultimate performance capabilities. Delivering prime performance parts since the 1960s, the Mopar brand has always found a way to push the envelope. Its latest creation dubbed the “Hellcrate,” is an all-new, first-of-its-kind, factory-backed 6.2-liter supercharged Crate HEMI Engine Kit.

The Mopar brand is unleashing a new Mopar 6.2L supercharged Crate HEMI® Engine Kit — nicknamed the “Hellcrate” — that injects 707 horsepower and 650 lb.ft. of torque under the hood.

“Never before has a supercharged, factory-direct 707-horsepower crate engine kit been offered, and we are proud to be the first to deliver a solution that enthusiasts have demanded,” said Pietro Gorlier, Head of Parts and Service (Mopar), FCA. “This ultimate powertrain option fits the needs of owners and fans who demand iconic performance.”

Intended for pre-1976 street and off-road vehicles, the kit ships in unique packaging featuring the “Hellcrate” logo and includes in-depth information sheets with helpful installation tips and requirements.

An essential Front End Accessory Drive (FEAD) Kit, which includes an alternator, power steering pump, belts, pulleys and more, is among additional engine accessory hardware components available to assist in installing the Mopar “Hellcrate” HEMI Engine Kit.

The new Mopar “Hellcrate” HEMI® Engine Kit provides relatively simple “plug and play” with the 6.2L supercharged Crate HEMI Engine assembly (pictured), which is also available from Mopar.
