Replacement of front Springs.

Hi,

I have a dodge nitro 2009, in the Uk.

As i discovered a spring was broken i decided to replace it.

On replacing it with an aftermarket part, i discovered that the car now sits on the upper arm. So this means the spring can not take the weight of the car.

I have been offer the original mopar springs.

is there any way to make sure the spring is correct with out having to install it all Again.
