Well I'm going to do away with them since I noticed the passenger rail cracked 4 inches from the back somehow. I'm going to cut the studs off and repair and paint the roof. I'm going to put a gasket in the outside channel. We'll see how it pans out . I'll try and get some good pics of my progress. I haven't done a whole lot but it looks quite a bit different from where she was when I got her. 2" lift, painted rims, brush guard, nerf bars, took off badges, LED headlights, replaced tail lights and hardware on back door. She's getting there.

Do you have a close-up of what the roof of the Nitro looks like after the removal, and exactly what you did to complete it? Nice pictures of your ride!

I wish I would have just repainted the entire roof it would have turned out better. I simply cut the studs off and patched and painted the edge where the rail was. I kind of rushed it and the final product shows it. It was an overnight project start to finish. I'm going to redo the roof when the weather warms up . I'll paint the entire roof stock inferno red so it all still matches but I'm looking into wraps also for the entire body I'm thinking of the chameleon wraps that's probably the only way I can afford that finish lol.

Looks pretty good to me! Thanks for the pictures that may help others to consider the same modification.
