Hi there

I'm a new Dodge Nitro owner (recently took over the Nitro from my father).
I know this topic has been discussed on this forum but I didn't see any solutions to my problem.
I have an existing roof rack on my Jeep Patriot (tightens onto the roof rails with a Thule type system) I want to use this rack on my Nitro.
The Nitro doesn't have rails and I can't find much online regarding rails for it. Everything is only cross bars. I'm looking for inline rails
Also what makes this difficult is that I live in South Africa and there's no more Dodge support in this country.

Any info will be appreciated

Thanks
Gavin

Galvin great post with pictures. This Site has answers to nearly ALL issues on the Nitro built and sold in the U.S. Not really sure that they address other Countries, however.

I'm confused with the pictures you supplied. Are they from your Nitro? If so they are roof rails. You state you want "Inline Rails" please explain. Thanks!

Thanks for the reply Rick

I should have been more specific or used the correct terms, sorry. Please see the attached pics (bars on my jeep patriot). I'm looking to install "inline" rails/bars like my Jeep so I can use my rack between the two vehicles.
The only bars I can find online for the Nitro are the ones that run side to side across the top.

Thanks

Hi Rick

Thanks for the links but I'm really not looking for a new roof rack. My existing one is quite expensive and has all led light bars and gadgets installed.
I'm only looking for "inline" rails or bars that fit onto the Nitro (not cross bars) so that my existing roof rack can clip onto it.
If anyone know of any such bars, that would be great.

Thanks

Regards
Gavin
