2011 4.0 litre. Anybody ever skip a tooth or two with a new belt but not a new tensioner? What was the result? Belt is two weeks old and it started and quit 4min later. Now it farts but won't start.
Got it open, found that a water pump bolt head broke off and went through the crank and skipped the timing belt 6 teeth! Got it retimed and she actually runs great again ! No damage Holy crap!!!
