Sounds like something in your water or soap. I've never noticed it on mine.
I have had the same thing happen to me. It's just the water or soap. I like keepin my Nitro clean and have learn to deal with it. I make sure most of water is out of the mirror before I park it in the garage. Seems to take care of the problem!
The mirrors do hold water and it drips out. Try to dry around the inside area of the mirror and at the hinge, the more water you get out of that area will reduce the drip, drip, drip later on

I just recently bought a black slt nitro and the other day I was lazy and ran it through a touch free car wash and it started smoking very bad in the front. I told my fiance that it runs a little funny now wit a couple of misses and he said it's my imagination. It's my first brand new vehicle so I expect it to run perfect for a long time, I guess. Have you noticed that the radiator is low, directly in the front, and isn't covered?
thats not a rad

thats a brake fluid cooler
are you sure????

:D are you sure that its a brake fluid cooler? i think it may be a power steering cooler.

go to www.moparpartsamerica.com and type in nitro and on the list it only shows a power steering cooler. i also have a transmission cooler. what i'm looking for is the oil cooler. they make it for the 4.0 but not the 3.7!! figure that one out. guess equal is not the issue. if they want some of my money then they ought to make the oil cooler for the 3.7. good luck to you "rover 12". hope to chat with you and all the rest, the doc says that it is good for me and my nitro.

Depending on your model and package level it could be any or all of, Brake fluid cooler (towing package) Oil Cooler, (towing package and R/T) Transmission cooler (any automatic model).

All answers are correct depending on what is installed. I personally just bought a piece of stainless steel expando-metal that I will use as a protectant for these coolers on my lower grill. I will make sure I post pictures and maybe a how-to guide when it is done.
