Yokohama to be OE on Chrysler models
The company also has announced it will supply OE tires for the 2008 Chrysler Town & Country and the 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan, sold in North America, and the Chrysler Grand Voyager sold in markets around the world.
This will be the first time for Yokohama to supply tires to Chrysler LLC. The sizes of the tires approved for all-season use in North America will be 225/65R16 100S Avid S33B and Avid C33B. On vehicles to be exported, Aspec A349A summer tires will be fitted in sizes 225/65R16 100H and 225/65R17 102H.
Yokohama Rubber will manufacture the tires at Yokohama Tire Philippines Inc. (YTPI), Yokohama's production base for exported passenger car tires, and delivered to Chrysler from Yokohama Tire Corp. (YTC), Yokohama's U.S. subsidiary.
