Yes Sporty570 you may be correct but make sure your battery is not an issue first if you have done so. (see below link) Have you reset your Nitro computer also? Very expensive unit new so use a rebuilt? Let us know how that works out for you so GOOD LUCK!

Dodge Nitro Intermittent No Crank TIPM Trip Up

This 2007 Dodge Nitro won't crank. But only sometimes. I tried to "take a look" and got nowhere. Let's dig a little deeper and see if we can find the real problem. Also, there's a dead squirrel in the engine bay. Enjoy!

2008 – 2011 Dodge Nitro 3.7L PCM Repair

Product Repair Description
This repair service is for the Powertrain Control Module, (PCM) from a 2008 through 2011 Dodge Nitro 3.7L that has ignition coil failure. This is the most common problem with the PCM/ECM from these vehicles, and it is often indicated by one or more of the following diagnostic trouble codes: P0351, P0352, P0353, P0354, P0355, P0356.
Our rebuild service is the easiest way to get you back on the road and the ONLY way to avoid a trip to the dealership.
If the PCM has been damaged by a failed ignition coil, then all 6 coils must be changed at the same time as the PCM. We strongly recommend using OEM replacement ignition coils and spark plugs.
